Chelsea locked in Victor Osimhen loan talks as Napoli push for permanent Romelu Lukaku transfer

Chelsea is reportedly in talks with Napoli over a loan deal for Victor Osimhen, as the Blues look to bolster their attacking options. The 23-year-old Nigerian striker has impressed this season, scoring nine goals in 20 appearances and has been linked with several top clubs, including Chelsea. Meanwhile, Napoli are pushing for a permanent transfer of Romelu Lukaku, who joined Chelsea last summer but has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge. According to reports, Napoli are willing to offer £60 million for the Belgian striker, who cost Chelsea £97.5 million last year. The Blues are said to be open to selling Lukaku this summer and could use the funds to finance a move for Osimhen, who would provide a different type of threat up front. However, any deal for Osimhen would depend on Napoli’s ability to secure a replacement striker. The club has been linked with several targets, including Lautaro Martinez and Erling Braut Haaland.
