Avengers: Does Marvel's RDJ Doom Reveal Comfirm Jonathan Hickman's Version of Secret Wars?

Marvel Studios has officially confirmed that the upcoming Avengers movie, titled Avengers: Secret Wars, will be based on a storyline by Jonathan Hickman. The news was announced during Marvel’s Comic-Con International panel in San Diego, with Kevin Feige and other Marvel executives revealing more details about the project.

As reported earlier, Avengers: Secret Wars is set to be a massive event movie that brings together characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is expected to follow the aftermath of the events in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. According to Kevin Feige, the movie will explore the concept of reality being torn apart, with characters from different dimensions and timelines converging on Earth.

In an interview with Variety, Jonathan Hickman revealed that he is thrilled to be working with Marvel Studios on Avengers: Secret Wars. He stated, ‘I’m excited to see where this takes us. I think it’s a really cool opportunity to explore some of these bigger ideas and themes in the MCU.’ Hickman also teased that the movie will have a big impact on the future of the MCU, saying, ‘It’s going to be a very dramatic shift in what we’ve seen so far.’

Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release in 2026. The movie is expected to feature a star-studded cast, with some characters possibly making their first appearances on the big screen.
