Manchester United handed double injury blow as Leny Yoro, Rasmus Hojlund limp out of Arsenal defeat

Manchester United’s woes continued on Saturday, as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League. The Red Devils’ troubles were compounded by a double injury blow in the second half, as Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund both limped off the pitch with injuries.

Yoro, who had been making his professional debut for Manchester United, picked up an ankle sprain after colliding with an Arsenal player. He was unable to continue and was replaced by Cameron Archer.

Hojlund, meanwhile, suffered a calf strain that forced him to leave the game early. The Danish midfielder had started in place of the injured Fred, but his outing ended prematurely.

Despite the injuries, Manchester United’s performance was not entirely without merit. They created several chances and pressed Arsenal hard, but ultimately came up short due to some poor finishing and a bit of luck.

The defeat leaves Manchester United 10th in the Premier League table, while Arsenal climbs to third. The Red Devils will look to bounce back from this setback with a win over Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
