Marvel's Fantastic 4 Gets New Title As Early Footage Screens At Comic-Con

Miles Morales is getting a new partner in crime-fighting. The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse duo are bringing their brand of superhero excitement to a classic Marvel property with ‘Fantastic Four’. Director Jon Watts and producer Kevin Feige revealed some exciting news about the film at San Diego Comic-Con today, including the title and a first look at footage from the movie.

Watts brought up the topic of the Fantastic Four’s place in the MCU during his panel, stating that they are ‘the first family of superheroes’ and that their story will be told with the same level of care as the Spider-Man films. He also confirmed that the film is set to be released on February 14, 2025.

The footage shown at Comic-Con gave fans a glimpse into the world of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing). The clip featured the four superheroes using their unique powers to take on an alien invasion, showcasing their teamwork and banter.

Kevin Feige also took part in the panel, giving a brief overview of the film’s place in the MCU. He emphasized that this is not a reboot or rehashing of previous Fantastic Four stories, but rather a new take on the characters and their adventures.
