Robert Downey Jr. is returning to Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ films as a villain, and more Comic-Con twists

San Diego, CA – Marvel is set to make its triumphant return to the San Diego Comic-Con International with a highly anticipated panel discussing its post-Deadpool and Wolverine plans. The event is scheduled for Friday, July 24th, at Hall H, where fans will get an exclusive first look at what’s in store for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after the conclusion of the Deadpool franchise and the upcoming Logan-inspired Disney+ series.

During the panel, Marvel will reportedly share its vision for the future of the MCU, including updates on upcoming projects such as Captain Marvel 2, Doctor Strange 3, and more. Fans can also expect to see new trailers, concept art, and behind-the-scenes footage from some of these films.

The post-Deadpool era marks a significant shift in the MCU’s creative direction, with Marvel looking to capitalize on the success of Phase 3 by introducing fresh characters and storylines. The panel will likely touch upon how this change will impact the overall narrative of the franchise.

Comic-Con attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session following the presentation. Tickets for the event are currently sold out, but fans can still attend as walk-in attendees if space permits.

This year’s Comic-Con International runs from July 23rd to July 26th at the San Diego Convention Center.
