When the adventurous and inquisitive Jonny Quest falls into a strange vortex, he finds himself on an ever-shifting, surreal world. There he teams up with the calm and analytical Hadji, the brave Bandit, and the dog with the heart of gold, Race Bannon! Together, they go on an action-packed adventure as they try to find a way back home. Meanwhile, the evil Dr. Zin has his own purposes for this strange dimension and he’ll stop at nothing, even resurrecting classic Quest foes like the sinister Dr. Krane, to get them!

ComicBook.com: Jeff, what drew you to the Future Quest project?
Jeff Parker: I was really excited to work with the Hanna-Barbera characters, especially Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, and the Herculoids. I’ve always loved the classic adventure and sci-fi elements of those series, and I thought it would be fun to bring them together in a new way. Plus, I’ve always wanted to work with Evan Shaner, and this was the perfect opportunity.
ComicBook.com: Can you tell us a little bit about the story of Future Quest?
Jeff Parker: Jonny Quest gets pulled into a strange dimension, and he meets up with Hadji, Bandit, and Race Bannon. They’re trying to find a way back home, but they’re also dealing with the evil Dr. Zin, who has his own reasons for being in this dimension. Along the way, they meet up with Space Ghost, the Herculoids, and other Hanna-Barbera characters. It’s a big, action-packed adventure.
ComicBook.com: What was it like working with Evan Shaner on this project?
Jeff Parker: Evan is a great artist and a great guy. He’s really good at balancing action and humor, and he’s been doing a fantastic job of bringing these characters to life. We’ve been having a lot of fun working together.
ComicBook.com: What do you hope readers will get out of Future Quest?
Jeff Parker: I hope readers will enjoy the adventure and the action, and that they’ll appreciate the way we’ve brought these classic characters together in a new way. I also hope they’ll be excited to see what’s coming next.
