The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper, 28, denied throwing shade at Nicki Minaj with her recent maternity shoot for Vogue, telling fans that she was simply paying homage to her own style. ‘I haven’t talked to Nicki since before this whole pregnancy thing,’ Cardi said in an Instagram Live session on Wednesday, December 16. ‘I talked to her maybe once or twice before I got pregnant and that was all.’ Cardi, who is expecting her second child with husband Offset, explained that she was inspired by her own fashion sense for the Vogue shoot, which featured her posing in a black and white bodysuit, similar to Minaj’s 2014 Anaconda music video. ‘I’ve been wearing bodysuits for years,’ Cardi said. ‘I wore a bodysuit eight months pregnant with Kulture, I wore a bodysuit after I had Kulture.
