Man Utd ready to reach transfer compromise as Ten Hag considers Liverpool target

Manchester United are considering a move for West Ham United star Declan Rice as an alternative to Bayern Munich-bound Noussair Mazraoui, according to reports. The Red Devils have been long-term admirers of the talented right-back and are keen to strengthen their defence this summer. Liverpool FC, on the other hand, were previously linked with Mazraoui but it seems they will miss out on his signature as he is set to join Bayern Munich. Manchester United’s interest in Rice comes as no surprise given his impressive form for West Ham this season. The England international has been a mainstay at the Hammers and has caught the eye of many top clubs in Europe. With Mazraoui off the market, United may see Rice as an attractive option to bolster their right-back position. However, it remains to be seen whether West Ham will be willing to sell their prized asset. As things stand, Manchester United’s priority is securing a new defender this summer, and they are keeping tabs on several top targets.
