Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has urged young players to take advantage of the opportunities presented to them at the club. The 22-year-old forward has spoken about his own journey, from being released by Chelsea as a youngster to going on to make over 100 appearances for the Gunners. Nketiah believes that young players should be bold and seize every chance they get, rather than waiting for it to come to them.

‘If you’re not brave enough to take the chance, someone else will,’ he said. ‘I was released by Chelsea when I was younger, but I didn’t give up. I worked hard and kept pushing forward. Now, I’m in a position where I can help young players who are going through similar experiences.

‘When you’re given an opportunity, make the most of it,’ he added. ‘Don’t wait for it to come to you – go out there and take it. That’s what I did, and it paid off.’
