Celine Dion has given fans an update after performing at the Olympics opening ceremony. The 54-year-old singer took to social media to share a message with her fans, stating that she is ‘feeling great’ and ‘completely exhausted’ after the event.

Dion performed at the ceremony alongside other international artists, including K-pop group BTS, in front of an estimated global audience of 1 billion people. In her update, she thanked her fans for their support and praised the athletes who will be competing during the games.

‘WOW, what an experience!’ Dion wrote on Instagram. ‘I am feeling great, but also completely exhausted! I want to thank each and every one of you for your love and support. It’s because of you that I get to do what I love and share it with the world.’

She added: ‘And now, let’s focus on the athletes who are about to take part in this incredible event. May they inspire us all with their courage, determination and perseverance.’

Dion is set to perform at the games again during the closing ceremony.
