Prince Harry has revealed his concerns about his wife, Meghan Markle, feeling unsafe in the UK. In an interview with ITV News, Prince Harry spoke candidly about the pressure and scrutiny the royal couple faces on a daily basis.

“I don’t think any member of this family will ever walk away from something that is our duty,” he said. “But at the same time, we have to be realistic, we can’t just sit here and do nothing about it.

When asked if Meghan feels safe in the UK, Prince Harry replied: “I don’t think she does.” He added that he’s worried for his wife’s safety because of the media scrutiny and the constant attention they receive.

“It’s really important to make sure that we are protecting our staff and our community,” he said. “And I’m very proud of the way that we’re doing it, but you know, there are some things that are beyond our control.”

Prince Harry also revealed that he has been working with his team to develop a plan for the royal couple’s future in terms of their roles and responsibilities.

“We’ll continue to work together and support each other,” he said. “But we will have to find a way, I suppose, to balance our desire to do something that makes us happy with our duty to the institution.”

The royal couple’s decision to step back from their roles as senior members of the royal family has sparked controversy and debate about the role of the monarchy in modern society.
