Paris Olympics: Star-studded line-up finally revealed for opening

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games have announced the performers set to appear at the opening ceremony. The event, which takes place on July 26, will feature a range of artists from around the world.

Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, and Aya Nakamura are among the acts revealed so far. Also performing will be Japanese rock band Gojira, French electronic music duo Daft Punk’s collaborators, Stardust, and Algerian rai singer Souad Massi.

The opening ceremony is set to celebrate Paris’ history and culture as it hosts the Olympic Games for the third time. The event is expected to bring together thousands of athletes from around the world for a two-week period.

In addition to the musical acts, the ceremony will feature performances by French artist JR, who will be creating a large-scale mural at the site, and the Orchestre National de France.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are set to take place from July 26 to August 11.
