"I Pray Your Daughter Is...": Jennifer Aniston Slams Trump's Running Mate

American actress Jennifer Aniston has spoken out against remarks made by J.D. Vance, the running mate of Donald Trump in the 2020 US presidential election, about women who choose not to have children. In a recent interview, Vance had said that he believed ‘childless cat ladies’ were more likely to vote for Democratic candidate Joe Biden over Trump. Aniston took to social media to express her disapproval and disappointment with Vance’s comments.

Aniston tweeted: ‘Wow, just heard @JDVance1 on Fox News saying ‘childless cat ladies’ are the ones who will determine the election. I’ve got a message for J.D.: If you’re going to try to divide us by our personal choices, don’t be surprised when we, as women, make our own decisions about who we want to represent us.

The ‘Friends’ actress went on to say that she found Vance’s remarks ‘pathetic and sad.’ She also expressed her support for Biden, saying: ‘I’m not going to let anyone dictate how I vote or what I think is important. And I think it’s time we elect a president who actually cares about the people he’s supposed to serve.

Vance had made the comments while appearing on Fox News, where he discussed his views on the upcoming election and the state of American politics. His remarks sparked outrage among many social media users, with some calling them ‘sexist’ and ‘divisive.’ Aniston is the latest celebrity to speak out against Vance’s comments.

The actress has been an outspoken critic of Trump throughout his presidency, and her criticism of Vance’s remarks is just the latest example of her willingness to take a stand on issues that affect women and marginalized communities.
