In an interview with People Magazine, Cyrus revealed that he’s been working on a new album and even shared a special collaboration: a duet with his daughter, singer-songwriter Noah Cyrus. The 30-year-old pop star, who released her debut album ‘NC-17’ in 2016, has been open about the ups and downs of her music career, but it seems like she’s found a partner in crime with her dad. In fact, Noah even gave her dad some advice on his new music. ‘Noah’s been really helpful,’ Cyrus said. ‘She’s got a great ear for production and melodies.’ The duet, which doesn’t have an official title yet, is part of Billy Ray’s upcoming album, which is expected to drop sometime this year. It’ll be his first full-length release since 2012’s ‘Change My Mind’. Cyrus also hinted at some other special guests on the record, saying that he’s been working with ‘some talented people’ who are still under wraps for now.
