Tottenham agree deal to sign South Korean teenager Yang Min-hyuk

Tottenham Hotspur has completed the transfer of Yang Min-Hyuk, a 23-year-old South Korean winger, from Seoul-based club FC Seoul. The move is reportedly worth £5 million and will see Yang join the Spurs’ first team for the upcoming season.

Yang has been capped at every youth level by South Korea and made his professional debut in 2020 with FC Seoul. In his three seasons with the club, he scored nine goals in 73 appearances.

The winger is known for his pace, skill on the ball, and ability to beat defenders. He is expected to provide competition for Spurs’ existing wingers, such as Son Heung-Min and Lucas Moura.

In a statement announcing the transfer, Tottenham said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Yang Min-Hyuk to the club. His pace, skill, and versatility will add depth and quality to our attacking options.’

Yang is expected to join his new teammates for preseason training next month.
