According to Malhotra, the dress is made up of layers upon layers of intricate lace and delicate embroidery, showcasing the artistry of Indian craftsmanship. Speaking about the project, Malhotra revealed that he was inspired by the show’s Regency-era charm and aimed to recreate its essence on the red carpet. ‘The Bridgerton series has a certain grandeur and opulence to it,’ he said in an interview. ‘I wanted to bring that same level of sophistication and drama to Jennifer Lopez’s look.’ The dress, which is yet to be showcased publicly, is expected to make waves at its debut event.
