Arsenal have pulled off a major coup by signing both Riccardo Calafiori and Leandro Kiwior on permanent deals. The Italian duo, both 22 years old, had been impressing for Roma and Salernitana respectively in the Serie A league this season. According to reports, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been tracking the pair’s progress and sees them as key components of his future plans. Calafiori is a left-back who has made over 20 appearances for Roma this term, while Kiwior plays at centre-back and has impressed with Salernitana. The Gunners are believed to have paid £3million for each player, a steal considering their potential. Both players will be expected to contribute immediately in the Premier League next season.
