Keanu: I Think About Death Constantly

Actor Keanu Reeves has opened up about his thoughts on death, revealing that he frequently thinks about it. In an interview with The Guardian, the John Wick star said: ‘I think about death constantly… I think it’s a good thing to do.’ He added that contemplating mortality helps him appreciate life and find meaning in the present moment. ‘It’s not morbid,’ Reeves explained. ‘It’s actually very liberating.’ The actor has been open about his spiritual pursuits, having previously studied Buddhism and the teachings of Socrates. His philosophical approach to life is reflected in his work, with many of his characters embodying a sense of calm and acceptance. In John Wick, for example, Reeves’ titular character faces unimaginable tragedy yet remains stoic and determined throughout. The actor’s introspective nature has also led him to explore themes of mortality on screen, as seen in his roles in films like The Matrix and The Lake House. ‘It’s a big part of my life,’ Reeves said about death. ‘I think it’s important to understand that you’re going to die… It gives you a lot of perspective.’
